In the Vampire Breast Lift procedure, Dr. Slater collects fat from various areas of the patient’s body (Mini Lipo). The collected fat is purified and carefully re-injected into the area of breast with volume loss. This technique creates a smooth, totally natural appearing enhancement. This avoids the large scars and possible encapsulation sometimes associated with implants. After completing the Fat Transfer, Dr. Slater injects PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), drawn from the patient’s own blood (plasma gets separated) into the breast to increase collagen production, increase blood flow to the area injected and improve overall skin texture and plumpness. PRP is also responsible for healing the tissue faster, which is ideal with any fat transfer.
