The scientist behind Elaine Sterling Skincare is recognized as one of the leaders in the field of bioactive peptides. He developed the first artificial blood formulations for use during organ preservation prior to transplant operations, particularly the heart. The microemulsion formulations used in this process gave such outstanding results on the organs being transplanted that they were explored for other applications for use.
